Lago Maggiore lombardo

Lake Maggiore east

Lake Maggiore, whose surface is shared between Italy and Switzerland, is one of the main alpine lakes and the second italian lake after Lake Garda.
Lakes, islands, mountains, typical villages, masterpieces of Art and Nature are waiting for you to discover them day by day, savouring its scents and tastes.

The Province of Varese is one of the most beautiful of Italy: the peculiarity of this region is the presence of a lot of lakes. A characteristic of this lacustrine atmosphere is given both by the imposing presence of the Alps and by the existence of numerous villas, some of which historical, surrounded by healthy gardens, with balustrades, statues, fountains. Among the most important and evocative towns we remember: Luino, Porto Valtravaglia, Laveno, Angera and Sesto Calende.
